Dr. Daniel C. S. Ahn,
Chairman/CEO
Dr. Daniel C.S. Ahn
graduated from M.I.T. in 1972 with a Ph.D. degree in Ocean Engineering. Over
the previous thirty years, Dr. Ahn has held several executive management
positions within the offshore
and plant industries. Dr. Ahn was the founder of
today’s Offshore and Engineering Division at Hyundai
Heavy Industries Co., Ltd
(“HHI”) and was instrumental in the growth of HHI that led to it become a
leading
contractor in the worldwide offshore oil and gas industry. Together
with his long time associates, including
Mr. Sung Joon Uh as President/COO, Dr.
Ahn has inaugurated a new company, OPT (Offshore & Plant
Technology Services Co., Ltd) to serve the offshore and plant construction
industries.
