Dr. Daniel C. S. Ahn,  Chairman/CEO

Dr. Daniel C.S. Ahn graduated from M.I.T. in 1972 with a Ph.D. degree in Ocean Engineering.  Over

the previous thirty years, Dr. Ahn has held several executive management positions within the offshore

and plant industries.  Dr. Ahn was the founder of today’s Offshore and Engineering Division at Hyundai

Heavy Industries Co., Ltd (“HHI”) and was instrumental in the growth of HHI that led to it become a leading

contractor in the worldwide offshore oil and gas industry.  Together with his long time associates, including

Mr. Sung Joon Uh as President/COO, Dr. Ahn has inaugurated a new company, OPT (Offshore & Plant

Technology Services Co., Ltd) to serve the offshore and plant construction industries.

HHI Offshore Engineering and Industrial Plant Division

   Led the HHI Offshore & Engineering Division during the expansion into floating FPU and FPSO systems

for oil and gas production.  Successfully completed/secured the following projects:

ExxonMobil Kizomba FPSO A & B, 1 month and 3 months ahead of schedule respectively.  Production

capacity 250,000 bopd, 400 mm scfd with 2.2 mmbbl oil storage.  Topsides Modules 24,400 m‑tons,

   Established a joint venture engineering company in Seoul Korea between HHI and John Brown.  The

focus was to perform the engineering for numerous consecutive EPIC contracts (onshore plant and offshore

oil/gas) awarded by ONGC, including the NQP/NQC project exceeding USD 1-billion.
