Introduction

Ramunia Fabricators Sdn. Bhd. is a Malaysian incorporated company, wholly-owned by Ramunia Holdings Berhad, a company listed on the Bursa Malaysia (Malaysian Stock Exchange).  Ramunia Fabricators is one of the leading oil and gas fabricators in Malaysia, and operates at its fabrication yard in Teluk Ramunia, in the state of Johor.

The Yard and Our Principal Activities

Established since 1982, the Teluk Ramunia Yard (TR Yard) in Johor, Malaysia boasts of its size of more than 100 acres of yard space with the capacity to undertake steel fabrication of offshore platforms up to 30,000 metric tons.  Accessible by a two hour drive from Johor Bahru town and a half-hour boat ride from Singapore, the Yard is located at an excellent deep seafront, well protected from the South China Sea monsoons. Significantly, it is situated at the tip of the southernmost point of the Asian Continent. It is equipped with 270m quay side complete with two load out skids of 6,000 tons and 10,000 tons respectively. It is further complemented by a fleet of cranes of various capacities, a large covered workshop (26 x 90m), a concrete fabrication floor slab (33m x 80m), three fabrication tables (30m x 90m) and other complementary equipment and supporting infrastructures.  This wide range of facilities enable the Yard to fabricate jackets and marine platforms for offshore Oil and Gas facilities and other heavy steel fabrication works of high quality on time.

Since its establishment, the TR Yard has built a reputation as one of the leading fabricators for the Oil and Gas Industry. The Yard also takes pride as being the place where the first Jacket in the country was constructed for the Duyong Gas Field, a project under Petronas Carigali. Projects completed at the yard include marine structures, jackets, topsides, modules, living quarters, chemical plants and steel structure fabrications.
