On October 27, 2005, Dr. Daniel C. S. Ahn (center right), Chairman/CEO of OPT and Mr. S. J. Uh (right), President/COO of OPT have signed an agreement with Shanhaiguan Shipyard to provide business development and project management support for the shipyard operations.

In attendance and representing Shanhaiguan Shipyard were Mr. Kang Buo Shu (center left), Managing Director of Shanhaiguan Shipyard and Mr. Dong Yin Bin (left), Commercial Director for Shanhaiguan Shipyard. 

The initial focus of the business development activities will be to promote the capabilities of Shanhaiguan Shipyards to provide new-build and/or conversion FPSO's to support the oil and gas industry, similar to the P33 and P35 FPSO's that Shanhaiguan Shipyards previously completed as a subcontractor to HHI.
